ERIC D. BEAL

Biography:

Eric Beal's practice is focused on the areas of complex commercial litigation, intellectual property and antitrust litigation, and appeals in state and federal courts. He has been integrally involved in representing large national companies, including high-tech companies, in litigation and in response to federal or state investigations. Eric has conducted analyses of the competitive effects of mergers and acquisitions in various industries, including retail and telecommunications. He has substantial experience with electronic discovery counseling and practice.

Eric, a resident of Amherst, Massachusetts, serves on the Springfield Boys and Girls Club Board and has been appointed to the Amherst Zoning Board of Appeals. He is an adjunct professor of law in the University of Connecticut School of Law Lawyering Process Program.

Eric served as law clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice Francis M. McDonald and Justice Peter T. Zarella of the Connecticut Supreme Court, and then worked as an associate in the Hartford office of a New York antitrust and litigation boutique firm before coming to Bulkley, Richardson and Gelinas, LLP.
