Robert B. Atkinson

Biography:

Bob Atkinson has been a director and member of the investment and dividend policy committees and Chairman of the audit committee of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. He also has been a trustee and member of the board of investment of Hampden Savings Bank; a director of Forbes and Wallace, Inc.; a director and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Eastern States Exposition; a director and President of the Western Massachusetts Health Planning Council, Inc.; President of Wesson Memorial Hospital; a director and President of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce; a director and member of the Executive Committee of Springfield Central Business District, Inc.; a trustee and Chairman of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts; a director of the Economic Development Council of Western Massachusetts; and a member of the Board of Assessors and Board of Public Welfare of Longmeadow, Massachusetts. During World War II, he served in the Army Intelligence Service.

Representative Experience:

Represented clients in the areas of complex corporate organizations and reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, real estate developments, national and international livestock management and merchandising, and financing. Bob has extensive experience with corporate start-ups and related securities transactions and financing, including private placements and initial public offerings.
