A spin-off of the UMass-Amherst Entrepreneurship Initiative, Valley Venture Mentors (VVM)-co-founded by Bulkley Richardson's Scott Foster-is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, membership organization composed of entrepreneurs and veteran business executives dedicated to the principle of "Learn, Earn, and Return." The organization meets monthly to view presentations by some of the region's top seed-stage companies.

In a recent Masslive.com interview, Foster discusses how VVM helps early-stage entrepreneurs launch their companies and why there is so much potential for the program in Springfield.
