Bulkley, Richardson and Gelinas, LLP Obtains Favorable Ruling in Case of National Importance.

In a case of national importance, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, on April 4, 2005, dismissed a class action against two BR&G clients – a major health care system and its flagship hospital. The lawsuit, which was one of many similar class actions filed against other hospitals and health systems around the country, challenged the billing and collection practices of the hospital with respect to uninsured patients.
