Seven-figure Settlement Recovered for Client in Commercial Dispute

Following two weeks of trial in federal court, BR&G has recovered a seven-figure settlement for a client in a major commercial dispute. BR&G's Jim Duda represented the client--a defendant and counterclaim plaintiff--in the litigation, with assistance from attorney Jennifer Cannon and paralegal Roberta Federici.

The matter involved parties from different parts of the country and centered on proprietary information, trade secrets and innovative, green energy technology. It also involved substantial issues of e-discovery and claims under the federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and state law corollaries.
