Even in these tumultuous times, certain principles can help everyone plan for their financial future. On September 23, 2011, 5 College Learning in Retirement (5CLIR) will present "Planning Your Financial Future: How Recent Developments and Prospective Changes May Affect You."
The workshop, free and open to the public, will feature three knowledgeable experts who will offer advice and answer questions, including Bill Hart, partner and co-chair of Bulkley Richardson’s Estate Planning and Administration Department, who will present an update on federal estate, gift and generation-skipping taxes, and discuss current debates at the Congressional level. Joining Hart will be Amy Jamrog, a financial advisor, and Katie Zobel, a representative of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts with expertise in philanthropic giving.
The Senior Community Center has plenty of parking on site and is handicapped accessible. No pre-registration is required. For additional information, contact Ina Luadtke at 413-585-5145.
